PANKEY, MBA
Ellen is a professional Management Consultant who holds two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Business the
other in Law. She holds an MBA in Business Administration and finished two years of Law School.
However, her passion
is with her Cane Corso Italian Mastiffs, and in the Arts. She regularly donates time, and money, sharing the Arts as well
as her beautiful dogs with Inner City Children and with Seniors. She has donated several puppies to Qualified Families
that have children with disabilities. She is well known at the local Animal Shelter for her donations.
Ellen, family and friends are the proud group known as CLASSIC
CANE CORSO KENNELS.
These beautiful dogs are raised in home atmospheres with love, responsible training, exercise
and the very BEST in nutrition.
Socialization begins on DAY ONE when Ellen assists with the whelping process,
often cutting the umbilical cords, putting the newborns on the warmer and giving them their first bottle while the mother
is whelping the rest of the litter. Our females are NEVER bred more than once per year to ensure the health of the mother
as well as the pups.
Our pups have Superior Intelligence and Socialization skills because beginning Day Three The
SUPER DOG PROGRAM (formerly known as Early Neurological Stimulation) is used until the pups are picked up by their new owners
at 8 weeks of age.
Classic Cane Corso Kennels is a group of family and friends who love the Cane Corso
Italiano. All of their dogs and pups are beloved family members. A mother and grandmother, Ellen has owned show horses, been a life-long dog owner, raised and bred large-breed
dogs for the past 25 years. Ms. Pankey has a responsible history of beautiful, well trained animals.
When you
see our dogs, you know INSTANTLY that our dogs are unique. Not only are they happy well-adjusted dogs, they are in superior
condition and their fur glows from a distance.

[Classic Henry] CLASSIC CANE CORSO ITALIAN MASTIFFS
The Cane Corso Italian Mastiff is the ultimate in friendship and protection.
THERE IS NO BETTER BABY SITTER or GUARDIAN
OF YOUR ESTATE.
This strong, beautiful dog will love and protect you your family and your loved ones -- unconditionally...
even when the police, the paramedics, or the fire department
can't come.
They are gentle enough to snuggle with small children, provide hugs and kisses for
the elderly, mentally and physically challenged, or even used for pet therapy.
A full grown dog can pull as much as 2000 pounds and is strong enough to pull you and your family to safety as a Rescue
Dog.
ORIGIN OF THE BREED
The Cane Corso is a direct descendant of the Roman War Dogs. They recently became popular outside of Italy due to people desiring a noble canine
companion and a guardian of their homes and estates.
Unlike the Neapolitan Mastiff, the Cane Corso has
impressive speed and amazing agility for such a large canine.
In Italy, when Cane Corsi were used
to protect their owner’s estates and cattle, they wore spiked iron collars (called a vraccale) to
protect their necks from wolves.
The Cane Corsi were NEVER sold in Italy. There was a jealous rivalry between
the owners that raised the Corsi. Occasionally an owner would give a dog as a gift, or exchange a dog at a
fair.
To prevent injury from stray dogs or wolves, the ears were traditionally removed with scissors
and the wounds dressed with olive oil.
The Cane Corso is POWERFUL, SPEEDY, and VERY AGILE. My dogs
look like a team of Polo ponies streaking, twisting and running at breakneck speed across the fields in the morning mist when I take them out to run.
All of our dogs are house dogs and beloved, pampered family members.
TEMPERAMENT
and FAMILY BOND
Cane Corsi have an innate sense of being very rooted to their territory and their
family. Dedicated to this bond and relationship Corsi have with their family, the Corso is not a dog to wander off looking for trouble.
A very attentive dog, it is easily trained, although it will be never be a robot. Their great intelligence and tremendous physical strength allow them to easily perform any task with a small
amount of personal guidance.
With the family it is a docile and sociable dog, particularly
tolerant towards children. They are aware of their great power and are particularly delicate with the little ones.
The Corso has a strong character and does not need lavish attention, but they adore affection and reciprocate
that attention, with unebelievable tenderness and a devotion to his master without equal. ================================== MEMBER
