Dear Ellen,My family and I truly enjoyed our visit to Classic Cane Corso to see your beautiful Cane Corso dogs. We visited and talked to numerous Cane Corso breeders before visiting your facility. We were truly impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of your Cane Corso dogs/pups and kennels.
In our opinion your facility and Cane Corso dogs/pups are shoulders above the rest. Your dog’s temperament and look are truly outstanding. Placing a deposit for a puppy with Classic Cane Corso was a no brainer. My teenage daughter (Danielle) and younger son (Daniel Jr.) are ecstatic about our family becoming proud owners of one of your beautiful pups. We look forward to bringing our puppy home. Thank you once again.Sincerely,Mr. and Mrs. Moxley

Dear Ms. Ellen,I’d like to say first, thank you for showing us wonderful hospitality when we came to visit your kennel. I was very impressed in how down to earth and open you were with us and I really appreciated that. I loved how tight your bond was with your dogs; they just weren’t dogs they were your FAMILY.  Unlike other kennels we’ve been to your cleanliness of your dogs and kennel was far superior. Your dog’s looks and behavior was truly outstanding. I can’t wait until we are owners of one of your fine and beautiful puppies. Once again I’d like to say thank you for your hospitality and giving us a chance to get to know you and your dogs.Sincerely,

Danielle Moxley - 14 years old

Bishop’s First Day Home
Ellen,I just have to fill you in on Bishop and my first day together....i think his name is going to definately be Bishop, but i will let you know Monday for sure on what i decide....it seems to suite him so well...(the Bishop protects the QueenJ)  He is FINALLY passed out right now....this boy has unbelievable energy!!!! He went 10 hours and only slept for 15minutes in that time....now i think he's explored enough and is able to sleep.....thank goodness....i am soo tired myself having not slept the last couple of nights anticipating his arrival. He got sooooooo much attention wherever we went today More than anything though people were just amazed at his size and majestic appearance. This boy is an amazing swimmer by the way....i didn't let him swim for much though only because he is so young and i didn't want to over exhaust him on his first day....he had fun w/ the boxers and bulldogs at the beach....some of the other dogs were just a little too much for him....and then we picked out lots of toys and chews for him. right before he fell asleep i finally got him to eat a little....maybe 3/4 cup of food and some water....and earlier i was starting to get nervous cause he didn't pee or have a bowel movement until after i had him for two hours....finally he did and i was so happy!! And so far....no accidents in the house. Now Bishop is recognizing my voice and will follow me everywhere....such a great sign since again....i was nervous because he didn't know where he was and i was afraid he was going to get too overwhelmed. And not only is he recognizing my voice , he is spectacular and so very smart as well as this huge love bug w/ me! i love the way he reacts to me, he is his mama's boy i have been dreaming of and so much more. Thanks again, Ellen and i will be filling you in on him again shortly. [Elsa]

Ellen:

I wanted to let you know that Sal is doing great. Thanks for sending us such a wonderful dog. He has grown a lot already. Sal seems to be enjoying the neighborhood. He really likes rough-housing with other dogs and has found a wide variety of dogs to play with. We had our first “Puppy 1” class at Sirius dog training last night. Sal had great fun playing with the other puppies, but I think some of the older dogs he meets at our park are a better match for his size.

Zach

Hi Ellen,Hope all is well with you.  We are enjoying Sully so much that Mark has asked me to inquire on another puppy.  We definitely are not looking anytime in the near future, but you had mentioned before about discounts for additional pups.  I just wanted to know how much an additional pup would be. Obviously Sully is doing real well J  He is an awesome dog; everyone just loves him (he gets invited to many play dates).  He is in beginning training classes now, which is going well.  I look forward to him being a therapy dog; he’s the perfect dog for the job.  Enjoy your holidays,

Wow, what a great response. Ellen, that is why I am a repeat customer. Appearance, size and temperament are definitely the great combination. I hear a lot of negative comments about Cane Corso temperaments and have seen a few that I would not have my children around. I can not say enough good things about Casper’s temperament.

Hello Ellen,

I am writing to inform you of the passing of our beloved Cane Corso, Bella Donna from another kennel.  We met you at the Connecticut show this past summer, and you met our daughter April and her puppy Bella.  Well, today, September 12, 2006, we had to have Bella euthanized due to her contracting tetanus.  The disease progressed rapidly and our veterinarian could do nothing to stop and reverse the terrible effects of tetanus.

Bella was 1 day shy of 8 months old when we had to make this heartbreaking decision.  And, to top it off it was the day after April’s birthday, September 11th.  We sat with Bella as the vet administered the euthanizing agents and her passing was quick and easy.  We are terribly heartbroken by this loss and the pain of losing her seems unbearable, but we will go on.  We can be happy with the time we did get to spend with her, and yet, knowing that we took very good care of her still doesn’t ease the stabbing pain of guilt that we may have done something differently and Bella would still be with us.  Here are a few of our favorite pictures of Bella: [Bella and April at the New Jersey ARBA show]

HELLO BYON, BARB AND APRIL,

The passing of Bella made my cry.  I love my dogs and puppies SO MUCH.

Nothing I say or do, can ease the pain, but hopefully time will ease some of the hurt.

It may be too soon to talk about, but I think that another puppy would start the healing process.  It just happens that I have a 4 week old litter with a SHOW QUALITY blue brindle female available.  She is the one in the above photo INSIDE the food bowl!!!!

Diva is the dam and Henry is the sire of the litter.  April met Diva the Saturday at the Dog Show in Bethany, CT.  Henry's picture is on the website.  The litter will have the ears done this coming Sunday.  April could pick her puppy up the weekend of April 30th, 2006 as a late birthday present.   There would be NO COST for the puppy.

PLEASE ADVISE if you would like to have the puppy for April.  PLEASE KNOW that whatever you decide for April, my heart, my hope and my prayers go out to you and the family.

XOXO and Heartfelt Hugs,

Ellen

Ellen,

I am speechless.  I had to wake my wife up at 3:00 am and show her your email.  We then woke April up and discussed this amazing offer.  April doesn’t know how to react to this, it is still a shock about Bella.  We are all going to sleep on it.  I am quite sure we will take you up on the offer, but we cannot begin to fathom your generosity.  When we first met you we knew you were a kind and caring person, but for you to offer one of your dogs to April goes beyond the norm of being a nice person.  You do not have to do this, but I am sure you wouldn’t have offered if you didn’t care for April and your dogs.  If we do agree to this we will do everything we can to make you proud of April and the puppy.  I am not the greatest with words, and I am even worse at this point in time because I do not know how to show our appreciation and express our genuine amazement that you would even offer April a puppy.

For now I will end this because I think I am just babbling on, but we will send you an email tomorrow (Wednesday the 13th) with our answer.  I do not know if you are a Christian woman, and we are not very strong in our faith, but you must truly be an Angel on Earth to do something so generous and selfless for people you only met twice.  God Bless You.  I hope that doesn’t offend you.

Byron

Ellen,

You truly are an Angel.  After sleeping on your unbelievable offer, we’ve come to the answer.  How do you pass up the gift of a Cane Corso?  To do so would be absurd, ridiculous, asinine, crazy, and a hundred other words meaning, stupid.  We accept your offer, and are humbled by your generosity and are in awe of your caring enough for our daughter to do such a wonderful thing.  April is ecstatic about getting one of YOUR beautiful dogs, and cannot wait to show her and make every effort to hold up her end of the bargain.  We will help April with the training, and give her all the support we can in this endeavor.  I will have to make some switches for days off to come to the show, but this is not a problem.  I will carry my wife and daughter all the way on my back if I have to.

Thank you again from the bottom of OUR hearts and may God bless you as he has blessed us with knowing you.

Byron, Barb and April

Penny,

I just got home with my new puppy--she is so sweet --and fat---

I was wondering what shots will she need in the near future.  She sleeps a lot, I guess she is tired from her long trip....

The bagage claim lady didn't want me to take her home..  Do you have any other dogs by the name "CLASSIC GINA"  or "CLASSIC NU-BE" I can't make my mind up on what to call her....nu-be means cloud

I just wanted to send this email to thank you for the beautiful puppy

Tremayne

Hi Ellen J

(1st day at home with 2 Classic Puppies)

The puppies seem very happy here.  They were so good on the ride home, enjoyed the trip to PetSmart (where everyone cooed over them), and then romped around in the driveway and the woods before crashing in their crate for the evening.

Some of the neighbors came to see them as soon as we pulled into the driveway.  Janus and Vesta ran up to greet the little twin girls (age 4) like they were old friends.

Vesta has already learned to climb up the 3 small stairs to the deck to get away from Janus when he gets rough.  The steps seem to intimidate him right now.  Vesta also likes to crawl in between our feet and lay down.  Everybody loves them and we do too.

I didn't get any photos of the dogs playing here this evening because we had so much going on.  They were tired before they knew it.  Attached are 2 pictures of them sprawled out in the smaller crate with their new snuggly toys.

Tomorrow, I'll give them a bath in the big whirlpool tub and get them into their new Coach collars that I won on Ebay.  They arrived today while I was gone.  I can't wait to get a good portrait of them, and I'll forward a copy as soon as I can.

 ....words cannot describe

I purchased a pup from Ellen Pankey, owner and founder of C.C.C.K about 5 months ago. Long before i even put a deposit down i found Ellen to be incredibly educated on this breed and always so helpful w/ any questions and/or concerns that i had...some breeders will not give you the time of day unless you put a deposit down. After my pup came home, Ellen continued to be there for us and still is to this day. She is happy to answer all of my questions and/or concerns. My boy is now 7.5 months old and he continues to blow my mind (along w/ everyone who is in contact w/ him) w/ his beauty, temperament, and intelligence. He is the healthiest dog i've ever had as well. My vets have also claimed that he is the most well tempered, beautiful, and healthy Corso they have come across. Ellen is an experienced breeder and it no doubt shows in the pups her dogs produce. I will gladly speak to anyone w/ any questions and/or concerns on Ellen as a breeder and/or her pups.

 AWESOME PUPS!

Ellen Pankey's dogs are the real deal Cane Corsos! She is a world renowned breeder. I personally visited her house and she showed me at least 6 of the biggest, show qualty, dogs that I have ever seen! All of her pups are show quality and you wont find blues like this anywhere else! When you buy a pup from her you can assure that you are buying a quality dog with all of the extras included. She raises her dogs with love, care, and affection. You may find a Cane Corso cheaper but you wont find a Cane Corso like this!!
